Logpoint becomes guardsix: Standing closer to Europe’s defenders

Written by Gitte Gade | Mar 18, 2026 7:26:28 AM

Today, Logpoint officially become guardsix.

This is more than a new name. It is a clearer expression of who we are and who we stand with: Managed Security Service Providers and the critical national infrastructure organisations responsible for protecting Europe’s essential services.

Cybersecurity is not simply about software. It is about the people who act when systems fail, when regulators call and when attacks unfold at the worst possible moment. It is about MSSPs safeguarding hundreds of customers. It is about security teams defending hospitals, energy grids, water utilities, transport networks, financial institutions and public authorities.

guardsix reflects our commitment to standing side by side with them as their closest ally in cybersecurity.

Why guardsix

The name combines guard, representing those who defend society’s critical functions, and six, drawn from the aviation phrase got your six, meaning I have your back.

Together, it expresses what effective protection truly requires: partnership, clarity and shared responsibility.

Our positioning remains clear. We help MSSPs protect other organisations while growing their own business. We support critical national infrastructure operators in strengthening resilience, maintaining control and meeting regulatory demands.

We combine advanced cybersecurity technology with European integrity and a strong focus on collaboration, because protection works best when we stand together as allies.

Built for responsibility at scale

Europe’s cybersecurity landscape is changing rapidly.

With NIS2, DORA, GDPR and increasing scrutiny around jurisdictional risk and vendor concentration, security operations are no longer judged solely on detection capability. They are evaluated on governance, audit readiness, data sovereignty and operational resilience.

For MSSPs, this means scaling services without scaling complexity or unpredictability. It means delivering strong security outcomes across multiple customers while maintaining margin stability and operational control.

For operators within critical national infrastructure, it means ensuring data residency, regulatory alignment and long term resilience without compromising performance or clarity.

We believe Europe needs sovereign security operations, not as a slogan, but as practical assurance around data control, predictable governance and regulatory alignment.

What is changing and what is not

Our name and visual identity are changing. The way we articulate and position our value is becoming sharper and more aligned with the realities European defenders face.

What is not changing:

  • Our platform capabilities across SIEM, NDR, SOAR and fleet management

  • Our roadmap and product strategy

  • Existing contracts and commercial terms

  • Your points of contact and support structure

Our commitment remains the same: delivering a sovereign ready SecOps platform and standing close to the people who rely on it.

Recognised by our partners

Our role as an ally is not something we claim lightly. It is reflected in how we work with partners and customers across Europe.

These perspectives underline what this rebrand represents: closeness, accountability and shared responsibility in a regulatory and geopolitical landscape that demands both technical strength and operational maturity.
